A Note From Sability's President
Welcome to our website. I'm Scott Brown, President of Sability and I'd like to take a few minutes to introduce our company to you.
I hope you don't mind if I let a little personality through the inevitable market-speak that certainly is to follow. Too often we find ourselves hiding behind our corporate veils. We feel we need to project a stoic image to the marketplace, devoid of any personality. That feels pretty…safe…but not very challenging.
Luckily, a number of memes are enabling us to peek out from behind the curtain. Social Media has widened our group of friends. I faced a bit of a challenge as we embraced Facebook. Do I create an account for work and another for my "friends"? I quickly came to realize there was little distinction. But, here's the most shocking news you'll get out of my Facebook account: I like to have fun. I drink a beer every now and then and love a good Cuban cigar when I'm up in Toronto. But my two favorite things in the world are babies and cookies.
You still with me? Does that mean you are either a competitor [what's up guys!] or truly interested in what I have to say? [I'll try to keep it interesting.]
Back to my point: let me introduce you to Sability.
The core of any organization (and especially a consultancy) is it's people. Each member of my team has been hand selected by me. Each has to possess three qualities in order to be hired:
- extreme competence
- steadfast integrity
- unfailing effectiveness
- a sense of humor [yes, I know I said three...our sense of humor is a bit odd]
I personally stand behind each of our consultants and managers. I know them as truly brilliant people who always have the client's interests first. If we've ever done business together, I've handed you my card and told you to call my cell anytime, day or night. I had a client take me up on it. Once. That was about eight years ago [before most of our competitors were even around].
Other than that, I sleep very well at night. Sometimes I do feel a bit like the Maytag repair man. As you can tell by reading this, maybe I need a little more to do.
It's been a tough year though- for you as well as us. Honestly, we got a little bored. Then we got busy in a bunch of ways. We honed our consulting processes to center around well defined fixed price offerings - so you'll know what you'll pay and exactly what you'll receive for those services. In the Sability Labs, we produced some world class tools that will save you time and money. We've also widened our relationships to encompass all the relevant WFM software vendors so that when you are ready, we'll be an unbiased partner to assist you in selecting the best vendor for your organization. We expanded our data center to help you too, either by hosting your instances, or providing that top notch level of support that is the hallmark of Sability.
We are here to make your work life easy. Ok - at least a little less stressful. So stay tuned, we have much more coming up.
