Failure is not an Option

A KPMG study published in the UK in 2002 (based on a survey of 134 public companies) reported 56% of the reporting organizations had to write off at least one IT project in the previous year, at an average cost of US$12.5M, while the highest loss was placed at US$ 210 million.  Various other industry estimates show a 30% - 70% failure rate.  So, how do you make sure that you're WFM project is not getting the wrong visibility with your CIO?

We provide project management and guidance to guide your project to success.  By starting with a foundation of a well-planned project, complete with risk assessment, issue management and escalation, stakeholder communications, resource requirements, and appropriate task scheduling, we are able to augment your internal team to provide any resources needed to augment your team.

Sability consultants are skilled in implementing all aspects of WFM, including Time & Attendance, Payroll and Human Resource Management (Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, Labor, etc.).  Implementations are planned around priorities using the requirements established in the earlier phase of the project. As the implementation plan is developed, we will engage client Subject Matter Experts with Sability consultants to establish an effective project team.

Planning the work, and working to the plan…

During the implementation, Sability projects are managed using:

  • A Project Management portal available to all team members as a workplace for the project plan, status reports, issue tracker and client or consultant documentation.  Documentation and coding changes are also tracked using a version control system so that the full history of project documents is maintained.
  • Testing methodology and tools to accelerate regression testing as changes are implemented.
  • Change management tasks to ensure that proper communications are established and maintained, including communication plan development, post-implementation staffing requirements and staff readiness programs.

Technology matters
